Michael David Vineyards
Michael David Vineyards is located in the Central Valley’s Lodi AVA. This wine label has branded itself extremely well, and sells such wines as 7 Deadly Zins and 6th Sense Syrah.
Abundance Vineyards
Abundance Vineyards is owned by Dino and Ron Mencarini. They have been working in the agriculture industry for most of their lives.
Akin Estates
Akin Estates is a newly established Zinfandel producer located in the Lodi wine region. The winery’s first release was the 2002 Zinfandel from Maley Vineyard. Co-owner and winemaker David Akin was an early advocate of premium Lodi wine production.
Baywood Cellars
Baywood Cellars has been producing wine for 90 years. Current owners John and James Cotta are committed to the excellence of their father and grandfather.
Gnarly Head
Gnarly Head produces Zinfandel from “gnarly vines” grown throughout the Lodi AVA. The winery carefully selects grapes from several Zin properties that have an established reputation for quality.
Borra Family Winery
Located centrally in the Lodi wine country, Borra Family Winery is dedicated to producing quality wines that embody the appellation’s characteristics.
Boitano Family Wines
Boitano Family Wines is a small Lodi producer that specializes in Trebbiano, Zinfandel, Barbera, Sangiovese, and Petite Sirah. Boitano also makes 2 very interesting sparkling wines flavored with raspberries and almonds.
E2 Family Winery
The Ehlers Family owns E2 Family Winery in the Lodi AVA. They have been farming in the San Joaquin Delta for 6 generations and are the proprietors of over 500 acres of vineyards.
Grands Amis Winery
Grands Amis Winery produces high-quality wine with small lots of Zinfandel grapes. Founders Jon and Cathy Wetmore had been in the wine industry for 25 years when they made their first Zin in 2000.
Harmony Wynelands
Harmony Wynelands is located on a beautiful piece of property in the Lodi wine region. In addition to wine tastings, Wynelands hosts corporate events, weddings, and bridal showers.
Mettler Family Vineyards
Established in 1899, Mettler Family Vineyards has been a long-time fixture in the Lodi’s agricultural community. In addition to their commercial success, the family also advocates sustainable farming methods.
Van Ruiten Family Winery
Based in Lodi, Van Ruiten Family Winery produces a wide range of wines with many different varietals. The family farms over 800 acres of vineyards and selects the best grapes to produce under their own label.
VM Vineyards
VM Vineyards is located in Lodi and specializes in Merlot. Vic and Carrie Mettler are the owners of the winery. The make wine with grapes from Locust Tree Road Vineyard and Victor Road Vineyards.
Berghold Vineyards
In 1986, Joe and Kay Berghold established Berghold Vineyards in the Lodi AVA. Along with their son, Miles, the couple recently completed building their wine production facilities.
Spenker Winery
In 1902, Fritz Spenker established Spenker Winery in the Lodi wine region. His grandson, Chuck, produce a single estate Zinfandel from the same vines that Fritz planted over a century ago.
Lobo Loco Wines
Lobo Loco Wines is a Syrah specialist in the Central Valley’s Lodi AVA. This family owned and operated vineyard and label uses environmentally friendly and sustainable farming practices whenever possible.
Macchia Wines
Macchia Wines is a small Lodi producer. Macchia is Italian for, “the spot,” referring to the winery’s idyllic location. Owners Tim and Lani Holdener produce 7 different Zinfandels as well as Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Dolcetto, and Barbera.
Watts Winery
Watts Winery is a well-established producer of Lodi wine. The Watts Family has been growing grapes in the region for over 4 decades. Their winery is located in the town of Lockeford near the Central Valley’s Delta region.
Benson Ferry Vineyards
Benson Ferry Vineyards is located near the intersection of the Mokelumne and Cosumnes Rivers which empty into the Sacramento Delta from the Sierra Foothills. They make an excellent Port-style, fortified wine.
Cantiga Wineworks
Cantiga Wineworks is noteable for producing non-malolactically fermented red wines; quite a rarity. Founded by Rich and Christine Rorden, the winery vinifies grapes from the Lodi and Shenandoah Valley AVAs.
Bokisch Vineyards
Bokisch Vineyards specializes in producing Spanish varietals including Albarino, Garnacha, Tempranillo, Graciano, and Rosado. Owner Markus Bokisch worked for Joseph Phelps Vineyards before starting his own venture.
Gnekow Family Winery
Pronounced, "nee-ko," Gnekow Family Winery is located in the Lodi AVA in the Delta region of the Central Valley. They produce wine under the Campus Oaks and YN (non vintage) labels.
Peirano Estate Vineyards
Peirano Estate Vineyards is a 300 acre property in the Lodi wine region. It is planted with Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay. The Zinfandel block is particularly large and comprised of very old vines.
Omega Cellars
Omega Cellars is a critically acclaimed Central Valley winery. Omega recently won a Bronze Medal for their 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon at the 2006 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
The Lucas Winery
The Lucas Winery was founded in 1978 and is based in Lodi. Winemaker David Lucas has four current releases: the 2001 Zinstar, 2005 Zin Blossoms, 2004 Late Harvest Zinfandel, and 2004 Chardonnay.
St Amant Winery
St Amant Winery specializes in Zinfandel as well as warm weather grapes that are indigenous to the Mediterranean Coast. St Amant owns their own estate vineyard and also sources fruit from Amador County in the Sierra Foothills.
Vino Con Brio
Vino Con Brio specializes in Old Vine Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. The winery also makes excellent Viognier, Pinot Grigio, Syrah, Sangiovese, and Pinotage.
