Andrew Murray Vineyards is located in the Santa Ynez AVA and specializes in Rhone varietals. The winery’s tasting room is located in the town of Los Olivos.

The 2002 Roasted Slope Syrah is primarily Syrah, but also contains a bit of Viognier in the blend. The addition of Viognier gives this wine softness and approachability. Roasted Slope translates to Cote Rotie, a legendary Appellation in France’s Northern Rhone Valley.

The 2003 Esperance is a blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 30% Mourvedre. This wine is made in the tradition of Chateauneuf-du-Pape Region in the Southern Rhone Valley. It has ripe fruit flavors and noticable spiciness. The grapes’ natural yeasts were used to ferment this very nice blend.
