Harmonique

Mark as Favorite

Harmonique is located in the western part of the Anderson Valley AVA. Owners Robert Klindt and Bruce Conzelman specialize in Pinot Noir grown in the cool local climate. Their wines include "The Noble One" and "Delicace."

Harmonique produces two different Pinot Noirs that blend grapes from the 8 year old Klindt Vineyard and the 29 year old Wiley Vineyard. The properties are planted on well-drained soils in the foothills of the Western Anderson Valley. This is one of the cooler parts of the AVA.

The winery handles their grapes very gently. They are hand picked, carefully sorted and destemmed, and fermented using natural yeasts. Klindt handles the winemaking duties at Harmonique and is also the owner of Claudia Springs Winery.

“The Noble One” 2002 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of 85% fruit from Klindt Vineyard and 15% fruit from Wiley Vineyard. This wine was aged in 70% new French oak for 19 months. 370 cases were produced.

Unlike the previous wine the “Delicace” 2003 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir was primarily made with grapes from Wiley Vineyard. It received the same oak treatment as “The Noble One.” 225 cases of this wine were produced.
