Juslyn Vineyards
In 1997, Perry and Carolyn Butler founded Juslyn Vineyards. They made their first 80 cases of wine during the 2001 vintage. Oscar Renteria is the vineyard manager and Craig MacClean is the winemaker.

Located in the Spring Mountain AVA, Juslyn Vineyards a number of highly sought after Cabernet Sauvignon based blends. But each wine is made in tiny amounts, and only 170 total cases were released of the 2001 vintage. Juslyn is a combination of Carolyn’s and her daughter Justine’s name.
In 1982, owners Peter and Carolyn Butler moved to San Francisco from England and started a technology business. The Butlers sold their company in 1997 and bought a beautiful property in the western hills of the Napa Valley. They immediately began planting their vineyard and made their first vintage in 2000.
Oscar Renteria is the vineyard manager for Juslyn. He oversees 42 acres of estate hillside vineyards s planted with 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest split between Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The Butlers also buy grapes from several properties that are farmed by Andy Beckstoffer.
Craig MacClean is the winemaker for Juslyn Vineyards. He previously worked at Markham Vineyards, Cain Vineyard, and Spring Mountain Vineyard. He has an M.S. in Enology from UC Davis.
