Marston Family Vineyard
Michael and Alexandra Marston purchased Menasco Ranch over 3 decades ago. Although they have been long-time fixtures in the Napa Valley, they did not begin producing their estate wines until 1998.

The Marston Family has been living on their Spring Mountain property for many years. The vineyard is advantageously located on southeast facing slopes. Because of this aspect, the vines bask in warm afternoon sun. Coupled with long hang time, the estate grapes have flavor to spare.
Renowned winemaker Philippe Melka is the head of production at the winery. He has a distinguished educational background in geology and oenology. Along with working for Marston, Melka also consults at a number of other premium wineries.
The Marston Family Vineyard 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon is made with 100% estate grown grapes. This is a fruit forward wine that embodies the big characteristics that have made Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon so popular.
The winery does not have a tasting room that is open to the public, and is not heavily distributed. The best way to find wines from the Marston Family is to order them direct or enjoy a bottle in one of the fine restaurants that carry the label.
