McNab Ridge Winery

McNab Ridge Winery is located in the town of Ukiah within the Mendocino AVA. John Parducci purchased the winery in 1999.

The Parducci Family has one of the longest unbroken wine traditions in California. In 1912, Adolph Parducci immigrated to the United States. He soon had a thriving business selling grapes to other producers.

When the Prohibition was passed, Adolph and his son, John, continued to sell grapes to home winemakers under the Volstead Act. This law allowed any head of household to produce 200 gallons of wine a year for personal consumption. After Prohibition was repealed, John founded, owned, and operated Parducci Wine Cellars.

With over 7 decades in the industry, John continues to make wine at McNab Ridge with his grandson, Rich. In 2002, they hired Charlie Morris as the cellarmaster.

McNab Ridge Winery produces wines from several vineyards in the Mendocino AVA. These include Napoli Vineyard in McNab Valley, Castanon Vineyard and Chase Vineyard in Redwood Valley, Eagle Point Ranch and Cononiah Vineyard on the Talmage Benchland (hills east of Ukiah), and Crawford Ranch in McDowell Valley,
