The rich history of Niebaum Coppola dates back to the mid 19th century. Gustave Niebaum founded Inglenook Winery in 1880. Within 10 years of their first vintage, Inglenook Winery was gaining steam both domestically in internationally. Prohibition marked the end of the Inglenook’s early years, but its impact Napa Valley wine was lasting.
The fate of the Inglenook property changed forever when Francis Ford Coppola was taken by the beauty of this historic site. Winemakers Scott Mcleod and Corey Beck share Coppola’s vision and have been working to produce wines that Gustave Niebaum would be proud of. This blend is made primarily from estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon fruit.
They also produce several other premium quality wines. The Blancaneaux is the sister of the Rubicon. This white blend is made from Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier and Chardonnay. The Cask Cabernet is made from 100% estate grown fruit.
