Drinkward Peschon Releases new Wine
St Helena’s Drinkward Peschon Winery released their 2004 “Entre-Deux-Meres” Cabernet Sauvignon.
The 2004 Vintage of Drinkward Peschon’s “Entre-Deux-Meres” Cabernet Sauvignon marks the fifth vintage of this Cab blend. During 2004, vineyard temperatures remained relatively constant, allowing time for acids to balance and flavors to develop.
This wine is comprised of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc. According to the letter sent to their mailing list, “It offers aromas of crushed blackberries and spice, followed by notes of cassis, graphite, and subtle new oak. Focused, sweet tannins and balanced acidity give the wine richness and elegance and lend power to its structure.”
