Trahan Winery is owned by Elizabeth Trahan Berry and Chuck and Janna Custodio. Chuck Custodio is also the winemaker and general manager. He sources all of the grapes for Trahan Winery. He makes Cabernet Sauvignon from the Suisun Valley (Solano County), Knights Valley Syrah, and Rutherford Chardonnay.

The 2005 Rutherford Chardonnay is made with fruit from the heart of Napa Valley. It has citrus, tropical fruit, and mineral aromas. The texture is lush, but there is enough acidity for structure.

The 2004 Suisun Valley Ledgewood Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon is made with grapes grown on sunny hillsides that are cooled by the San Pablo and Suisun Bays. A little bit of Petit Verdot is also grown on the property. This is a delicious wine that is unfortunately sold out.

Trahan’s 2004 Knights Valley Syrah is grown in a very warm climate in Northeastern Sonoma. It has dark fruit, cinnamon, and smoky flavors. Like the Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine is in high demand and is no longer available for purchase through the winery.
